When Andrea Reads Her Poems

about

Recorded on my phone in NY 2009

lyrics

It's all fine and well to say "be yourself, don't listen to anyone else"
but what you mean is "except society and me"
You believe in maturity
cuz when Andrea reads her poems
you say "stop it"
If someone does something you've never heard of
you get so annoyed
But if you were asked, you'd say you're really into that
When Andrea reads her poems
you leave the room
If you wanted sincerity you'd go to a middle school
but what you want is cleaned up lies that sound so cool
you claim that you're into honesty and integrity
but what you really love the most is predictability
when Andrea reads her poems you just leave
